Did you catch the planetary alignment this morning? Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn are all visible - and roughly in a straight line - for the first time since 2005! Makes for a pretty amazing view and well worth getting up before the dawn for.
So what do you look for? The best time to see the show is just before dawn, so around 6:45am-ish here in the UK. For Northern Hemisphere viewers, just look to the south and find the brightest objects you can spot - the brightest of the planets will be Venus. Mercury will technically be the first planet on the furthest left, but being so close to the horizon, will be quite difficult to spot. Next is bright Venus, to the right of Venus is Saturn, then you'll have Mars and finally Jupiter over in the far east.
Just FYI, this image is not to scale - it's just to give you an idea of where to look!
The alignment will go on for a further 29 days, with the best view in the UK expected around the 5th February. Get the thermals on and head outside! (Oh, and also check out our Cosmos themed delights here.)

We are really really feelin' two incredible styled shoots by Norwich based photographer Rekha Garton.
Firstly, OH EM GEE! Look at this crazy cool shoot she put together for a fashion feature for lifestyle mag The Resident, which has been featured on the cover no less. This sets the bar!! It's all wildlife and woodland weirdness inspired and has our insect motif pieces, Bringing the Honey Home and When The Time is Right Cicada, as well as gold eggs and a nest; did you hear that, GOLD EGGS AND A NEST. Girl has fantastical ideas, sparked by her quirksome awesome brain and has made them a reality. (Model: Claire Gasking, MUA: Wendy England)
Secondly, look at this recent free spirited gypsy girl styled shoot! Remember our 'This Summer we will be dressing like Almost Famous post' well this has heavy overtones of that, and we're WAAAY into it. It looks totally Americana-tastic but this is cornfield in Norfolk . It shows she totally knew the look she wanted to create and used her imagination of how to get it - Girl has serious vision. LOVE IT! She has used both our Wayfarer gemstone necklace and Spread Your Wings feather necklace. Beauty.
It also shows off some of Rekha's pieces she has available from her new venture The Prop Shop as well, a new hire service of cool clothes and props for shoots and beyond. Having chatted to Rekha about her love of quirly curios, trailing vintage fairs, car boots and odd sites online which have led her to get regular weird parcles in the post (including various real skulls!) we are thinking this is a gonna be one cool Prop Shop!
I think it's safe to safe we just, basically love her.
Most of you will already have seen the amazing illustration of Boo Hamilton-Frost. This mega awesome babe illustrated our SS14 MUSE range. You probably remember the pics; stunning re-imaginings of famous Pre-Raphaelite paintings such as the famous Ophelia, above. For a recap, visit our look book here.
Well one sunny afternoon we had had a chat and a cuppa, and asked some of those all important questions. Take it away, Boo!
EE- So Boo, how did you choose your business name?
Boo- One day I just sat down with my Mum and had a session of trying to come up with a name; nothing seemed to fit, then ‘Trulyboo’ emerged and just felt ‘right’.
EE- We love your updated modern take on the Pre Raphaelite paintings but we'd really love to know which is your favourite period in Art History?
Boo- I love all the Masters! So I would say the Renaissance. I just love all the detail. For some reason Equestrian portraiture has always been really appealing - I particularly like these two paintings of Charles I by Anthony van Dyck. These always stand out in my mind when I think about it (probably something to do with my childhood horse obsession aha!) I’m always more interested in the horses themselves, the attention to detail on their faces and tack than I am for the actual riders/kings themselves.
EE- So many art styles, such little time! If you had to choose between the following, which art style would you go for? Surrealist, Cubist, Pre Raphaelite or Modern?
Boo- Pre Raphaelite! The paintings are so dreamy and Goddess like. The ‘Stunners’ are just so womanly!
EE- What is your favourite theme to draw?
Boo-I really like drawing beautiful women especially tattooed ladies. Recently I have been enjoying drawing leaves and grasses, been really feeling the nature vibe!
EE- What was your most recent purchase?
Boo- It has been the spending of an Artist. Posca pens and three cans of spaghetti hoops for a £1 (bargain!).
EE- What are you currently enjoying reading?
Boo- I currently have an amazing book by Rob Ryan which I find inspirational! I have a neat little pile of amazing books on other artists and about found objects, which I just love going through.
EE- When you were a little girl what did you want to be?
Boo- When I was growing up I lived in Spain. I remember going to my Mum one day and saying “Mum, I’m going to marry a goat herder!” I so wanted to be a goat herders wife. I remember seeing the goats being herded in dry river beds and watching mother goats dropping their babies (giving birth) and just carrying on with them. Love Goats, the Spanish men were quite dishy too.
EE- What is your ideal lifestyle? What do you want in life?
Boo- Oh I would love to meet a beardy man, preferably in a supermarket, cause that how it happens in my dreams. We would live together in a flat, of course in Norwich! There would be 3 cats and I would be self employed selling my Art! Kind of like Gemma Correll (EE- the illustrating Queen of puns.)
EE- What are you enjoying at the moment?
Boo- I am enjoying Life! I love being creative and I am really enjoying the ‘I Make Fun Stuff’ shop in Ipswich (EE- Unit 17, Tower Ramparts, Ipswich. A totally amazing place to buy amazing handmade gifts and a big ol’ table in the middle to work on! Check them out on Facebook and say hi!)
EE- What tops your 'likes' list?
Boo- My Mum! (aww!), Cats, Glitter, Charity shops, Horses, Postcards and Dancing- I went dancing with my Mum when I was little. Oh and Beardy boys (EE- that’s a given isn’t it?)
EE- We love sharing positive thoughts over on our Instagram. Fancy sharing a couple of your favourite sayings?
Boo- ‘Don’t look a gift horse in the mouth’ and ‘One man’s trash is another mans treasure’.
And now probably the most important question!
EE- Now whilst we have been having our cuppa, the zombie apocalypse has happened. Like right now! What are you going to do?
Boo- Hook up with Daryl from the Walking Dead, because he is bad ass (and available at all times). We get hold of a sword and find a big mansion. Camp out there and wait for the Zombies to go by.
EE- Good plan! Obviously I am pleased to say to everyone that the Zombie Apocalypse has not happened and we are all fine. Daryl (Norman Reedus) can still come over of course, if he so wishes, and keep all the ladies in Norwich safe, that’s fine.
Twelve questions answered by a totally wonderful lady! Thank you Boo for sharing a bit about yourself with us!

I think we are all still in shock from the news that 25 year old journalist, model and daughter of Bob Geldof and Paula Yates, Peaches Geldof has died.
No matter what you thought of all the lives, looks and attitude she packed into her short years, to hear that such a bright, vivacious light has gone out far too soon is always a tragedy and one that makes your heart break when doubled with the fact that she was mother to two tiny boys she loved so much. Of course we also know that she lost her own mother at the age of 11, something she openly and understandably struggled with, so there are so many unanswered question today as we send our thoughts to the Geldof family, which as her father described in his moving words yesterday, ‘often fractured, but never broken.’
She was always such a pleasure to talk to and we loved sending her EE pieces.
We salute you Peaches, you grabbed life by the balls and everything you did, you did it with passion.
